Slovenia men's tennis team to host Israel in Davis Cup

The Slovenian men's national tennis team is preparing to host Israel in the second round of the Davis Cup on September 18 and 19 in Ljubljana. The Slovenian squad will feature Bor Artnak, Filip Jeff Planinšek, Sebastian Dominko, and Žiga Šeško.

Team captain Grega Žemlja noted that playing on home soil provides a significant advantage. While the team is missing Svit Suljić due to injury, Žemlja expressed optimism based on the players' recent solid performances, particularly on clay courts. This match represents an opportunity for Slovenia to climb back into a higher tier of the competition following a February loss to Turkey.
