Slovenia reports rising industrial production and improved GDP forecasts

Slovenia is experiencing an upward trend in industrial production and sales revenue. According to recent data, the total value of industrial production rose by 1.4% compared to June, driven by growth in mining (13.7%) and manufacturing (2.0%), despite a 9.0% decline in electricity, gas, and steam supply.

On a year-on-year basis, industrial production value increased by 2.0%. Manufacturing saw a 4.5% rise compared to July of the previous year, while mining and energy supply sectors experienced significant decreases.

Complementing these industrial figures, the Umar Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development has significantly improved its economic growth forecasts for the country. The revised projections suggest that Slovenia's economic growth will be faster than previously anticipated, moving away from earlier, more conservative estimates.
