Slovenian and Croatian foreign ministers meet in Ljubljana

Slovenian Foreign Minister Tone Kajzer is hosting Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman in Ljubljana for talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing international security challenges.

The visit marks the first comprehensive exchange of views between the two ministers regarding bilateral relations and current international issues in four years. Key discussion topics include European Union matters, the expansion of the Union into the Western Balkans, migration management, and the protection of EU external borders.

While the two nations share common ground on regional stability and Middle East perspectives, the arbitration ruling regarding land and sea borders remains a significant point of contention, as Croatia does not recognize the decision that Slovenia implements.
