Slovenian athletes raise €126,000 for charity

A charity auction held as part of the inaugural season of the ‘Never Give Up, Always Return’ golf league has raised €126,000 to support children, youth, and families in need. The event, a collaboration between Tadej Pogačar and entrepreneur Joc Pečečnik, featured participation from prominent Slovenian athletes including Anže Kopitar, Domen Prevc, and Tina Maze.

Key auction items included a Colnago V4Rs bicycle signed by Pogačar, as well as signed jerseys and sports equipment from stars such as Luka Dončić, Anže Kopitar, Domen Prevc, Tina Maze, and Jan Oblak.

The proceeds will be distributed among four organizations: the Tadej Pogačar Foundation, the Red Ball Institution (Ustanova Rdeča žoga), the Tina Maze Ski Academy, and the Domen Prevc Fan Club. These funds will support scholarships and psychosocial assistance for youth with cancer experience, aid children in distress, fund youth sports camps, and assist socially disadvantaged children.
