Slovenian consumer association updates electricity price comparison tool

The Consumers' Association of Slovenia (Zveza potrošnikov Slovenije) has updated its electricity price comparison tool to include dynamic tariffs. This update allows households to compare standard fixed-rate packages with market-responsive pricing, where electricity costs fluctuate based on market conditions.

As the heating season approaches, the association emphasizes that the most cost-effective tariff depends heavily on when a household consumes electricity. This is particularly relevant for users of heat pumps and other electric heating devices. The updated 'Tarifnik' application and web tool now allow users to input actual consumption data and additional bill costs to achieve a more accurate estimate of their final expenses.
