Slovenian designers selected for Los Angeles 2028 Olympic collection

The Olympic Committee of Slovenia has selected the design team responsible for creating the national Olympic collection for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Games. Out of eleven proposals, the winning team includes fashion designers Cilka Sadar and Sara Valenci, alongside graphic designers Emil Kozole and Žiga Artnak from Studio Ljudje.

The collection is designed to reflect Slovenian identity through modern cuts and sustainable materials. A central graphic element features Mount Triglav, composed of 59 individual elements representing the total number of Olympic medals won by Slovenian athletes to date. The range will include formal wear, everyday athletic apparel, and technologically advanced accessories.

Cilka Sadar, an Olympian herself and former designer for Adidas by Stella McCartney, noted the importance of creating uniforms that allow athletes to feel confident and comfortable while maintaining their individuality. The collection will be publicly presented before the team departs for the Olympic Games.
