Slovenian Duo Jakupović and Radišić Capture Hamburg WTA 250 Doubles Crown
Dalila Jakupović (35) and Nika Radišić (26) won the WTA 250 doubles tournament in Hamburg, defeating top‑seeded Belgium’s Magali Kempen and Russia’s Aleksandra Panova 5‑7, 6‑3, 10‑5. The victory marks Jakupović’s sixth final at this level and Radišić’s first WTA 250 title, boosting their rankings to No. 90 and No. 72 in the world doubles race respectively.
Earlier in the week, other Slovenian players recorded wins on the World Tennis Tour circuit. Sebastian Dominko opened his campaign with a straight‑sets victory in the M25 Aldershot event, while Luka Talan Lopatič captured his first-round match in Spain before advancing further. These results, together with the Hamburg triumph, highlight a strong period for Slovenian tennis on both the men’s and women’s circuits.
The Hamburg title adds a second major win for the Slovenian pair this season, following a previous WTA 125 victory in Brescia, and underscores their growing prominence in international doubles competition.
