Slovenian entrepreneur reports property damage at Istrian luxury villa

Slovenian influencer and entrepreneur Katarina Benček has shared footage of damages sustained at her luxury rental property, Villa Olea Vista, located in Galižana near Pula, Croatia.

Following its first full rental season, Benček and her partner, Marko Pavlović, reported various items damaged by guests. The reported issues include broken glassware, damaged cutting boards, a malfunctioning shutter, a broken garden table, a destroyed sun umbrella, and damaged pool cleaning equipment.

Benček highlighted significant damage to the kitchen island, noting a dent that may be irreparable. While the island was valued at approximately 4,500 euros, the owners estimated direct damages at around 500 euros, with an additional 1,000 euros estimated for the kitchen island repair or replacement. The villa was developed as a tourism investment, with peak season rental rates planned between 4,000 and 5,000 euros per week.
