Slovenian football clubs bolster squads ahead of new season

NK Bravo has secured a loan deal for 20‑year‑old forward Aldin Jakupović from German second‑division side Holstein Kiel. The loan, reportedly worth about half a million euros split between the clubs, sees Jakupović return to Ljubljana just before the derby with Olimpija, adding a much‑needed attacking option after a major squad reshuffle.

Olimpija Ljubljana is in advanced talks to bring back club icon Agustin Doffo. The 31‑year‑old Argentine, a two‑time league champion with 165 appearances, 3 goals and 12 assists for Olimpija, left at the end of his contract but is now being courted to re‑join the team as it seeks to reinforce its roster for the upcoming Prva Liga Telemach campaign.
