Slovenian gas suppliers report stable winter supply

Slovenian natural gas suppliers report that the supply for the upcoming winter season is currently stable. Major providers, including Geoplin and Energetika Ljubljana, have secured necessary quantities and do not currently plan price increases for residential consumers.

Geoplin, a major supplier, utilizes a diversified procurement portfolio that includes contracts with Algeria's Sonatrach to ensure reliability. While the supply outlook remains stable, providers noted that energy market volatility makes it difficult to predict when wholesale price fluctuations might affect end-users.

Energetika Ljubljana indicated that while residential supplies are secured, business consumers who failed to purchase volumes in a timely manner may already be experiencing price increases due to the direct pass-through of wholesale costs.
