Tamar Svetlin transfers from Korona Kielce to AS Saint-Etienne

Slovenian midfielder Tamar Svetlin has officially transferred from the Polish Ekstraklasa club Korona Kielce to the French side AS Saint-Etienne. The 25-year-old signed a long-term contract that runs until 2070.

While the exact transfer fee was not officially disclosed, media reports suggest the total operation could reach approximately three million euros, consisting of a 2.5 million euro base fee and 500,000 euros in bonuses. This sale marks a record transfer profit for Korona Kielce, surpassing their previous record sale of Mariusz Fornalczyk.

Svetlin, who previously played for NK Celje, joins the French club with the goal of helping them return to Ligue 1. AS Saint-Etienne's sporting director, Loïc Perrin, stated that the midfielder provides the specific profile required to strengthen the team's midfield line.
