Slovenian music scene updates: Tabu and Kataya release new projects

The Slovenian music scene sees new releases from established and contemporary artists. The group Tabu has released a new album and title single titled ‘Do kosti’. This project features acoustic re-recordings of their most popular songs, aiming to provide a more intimate and emotional listening experience compared to their original productions. The songs were recorded live in a studio to maintain authenticity. Tabu is scheduled to perform an acoustic concert at Siti Teatru in Ljubljana on November 26, 2026.

Additionally, Slovenian singer Kataya has released a new song titled ‘Pravi obraz’. Produced in collaboration with Kevin Koradin, the track explores the complexities of love and the reality that emerges when initial illusions fade. The song combines mystical and sensual themes with danceable rhythms, inviting listeners to experience the music through movement.
