Slovenian paddlers advance to World Cup finals in Spain

Slovenian athletes Eva Alina Hočevar and Lea Novak have successfully entered the World Cup finals in Seu d'Urgell, Spain. During the individual cross discipline, Hočevar finished 12th and Novak finished 16th, securing both athletes spots in Sunday's qualifying heats.

Hočevar enters the final stages of the season in a strong position, having previously taken the lead in the overall standings. The upcoming competition features a high-stakes battle for the Hočevar family, as Žiga Lin Hočevar also competes to defend his lead in the canoe overall standings, setting up a sibling rivalry for the championship.

In the women's cross discipline, France's Marjorie Delassus took the victory, followed by Tereza Kneblova of the Czech Republic and Angela Hug of Spain.
