Slovenian swimmers reach finals and earn top‑20 finishes at Youth European Championships in Munich

Rok Vejnovič, representing Slovenia and the Kamnik Swimming Club, qualified for the final of the 400 m medley at the Youth European Championships in Munich (July 7‑12, 2026). He also competed in the 200 m dolphin, 200 m mixed, 200 m backstroke and the 4 × 100 m mixed relay, highlighting his versatility and the coaching support of Miha Potočnik.

Artistic swimmers Lili Klopčič and Taja Starman made their debut at the same championships. In the free duet they placed 17th with 153.0583 points, and in the technical duet they secured 19th with 200.7750 points. Their performances were praised by coach Elena Bagdalova, who noted the duo's maturity and the solid technical execution despite a minor error in the free routine.
