Slow Food presents 2027 Italy Beer Guide in Trentino-Alto Adige

Slow Food recently held a successful presentation in Rovereto for the ‘Slow Food Italy Beer Guide 2027’, focusing specifically on the breweries and cideries of the Trentino-Alto Adige region. The event drew over 350 participants, featuring more than 2,000 tastings of 60 different varieties of beer and cider.

The gathering served as a platform to discuss beer culture, local supply chains, raw materials, and productive quality. National coordinator Eugenio Signoroni noted that 2026 will mark thirty years of the Italian craft beer movement, which began symbolically in 1996.

In a related development regarding the intersection of beverage and travel, new resources are highlighting ‘beer tourism’ across Italy. This trend involves using microbreweries as destinations for excursions through nature, historic villages, and valleys. Itineraries range from the castles of Val d'Adige and Val di Non in the northeast to the inland villages of Imperia in the northwest, connecting artisanal production with regional landscapes and heritage.
