Slow Food to celebrate 40th anniversary at Terra Madre 2026

Slow Food will celebrate its 40th anniversary during the Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026, held from September 24 to 27 at the Gallerie d'Italia in Turin. The event aims to trace the history of the association, which began in Bra in 1986 and has grown into a movement present in over 120 countries.

The program features forty voices, including farmers, chefs, scholars, and activists, participating in discussions regarding the movement's impact on agriculture, the environment, and gastronomy. A key highlight includes the presentation of 18 Atlases of the Ark of Taste for Italian regions, a project led by Carlo Petrini focusing on thirty years of research into biodiversity and local culinary knowledge.
