Slow Horses renewed for eighth season following Emmy win

Apple TV has renewed the spy drama series ‘Slow Horses’ for an eighth season following its Emmy win for Best Directing in a Drama Series. The sixth season, which adapts Mick Herron’s novels ‘I Spy’ and ‘Slough House’, has recently premiered.

The eighth season is expected to consist of six episodes and will adapt the novel ‘Clown Town’. The plot is set to feature an intense confrontation between characters Jackson Lamb, played by Gary Oldman, and Diana Taverner, played by Kristin Scott Thomas.

Director Adam Randall indicated that the eighth season could serve as a series finale. Production for the seventh and eighth seasons is being planned to ensure a steady release schedule, with the eighth season potentially arriving in 2028.
