Slow Horses Season 6 to premiere on Apple TV in September

The espionage drama ‘Slow Horses’ is returning for its sixth season on Apple TV, scheduled to premiere on September 16. This season marks a significant shift in production, as Gaby Chiappe takes over as head writer following the departure of longtime showrunner Will Smith.

In a departure from previous seasons, the production will adapt two Mick Herron novels, ‘Joe Country’ and ‘Slough House’, within a single six-episode season. The new season is expected to feature a higher level of action and stakes, including car chases and explosions, while maintaining the series' reputation for character deaths and fast pacing.

Returning cast members include Hugo Weaving and Olivia Cooke, with new characters introduced by Lenny Rush, Harry Lloyd, and Kyle Soller. New episodes are expected to be available for streaming on Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. ET, ahead of the official Wednesday premiere dates.
