Slow Horses season six premieres on Apple TV+

The sixth season of the Apple TV+ series ‘Slow Horses’ has premiered, bringing significant narrative developments and casting changes. A major plot point involves the death of the fan-favorite character JK Coe, portrayed by Tom Brooke, who is killed in a violent altercation in episode four.

Actor Tom Brooke expressed the emotional complexity of the character's departure, noting that while the death was part of his contract, the process was deeply affecting. The series, based on the novels by Mick Herron, continues to explore the gritty, unglamorous side of London and the internal hierarchies of MI5.

Set against a backdrop of London's back alleys and dilapidated buildings rather than typical tourist landmarks, the show follows agents relegated to Slough House following professional failures. The new season features the unexpected return of MI5 agent Sid Baker.
