Sólveig Anna Jónsdóttir criticizes feminists over EU stance

Jónsdóttir stated that she has faced personal attacks and sexual insults due to her stance. She argued that critics are focusing on her affiliations rather than addressing her substantive concerns, which include protecting the Icelandic labor market model, preventing the negative impacts of adopting the euro, and mitigating risks of long-term unemployment.

In her public statements, Jónsdóttir emphasized her belief in democracy and worker solidarity, asserting that her opposition to EU membership is rooted in a desire to maintain economic justice and local control over labor rights.
