Sèmè-Podji activists launch ten-hour waste collection challenge

In Sèmè-Podji, environmental activist Anas Seko and content creator Fèmi MD are organizing the ‘Challenge 10H’, a ten-hour waste collection event scheduled for September 19, 2026, in the Kpakpakanmè neighborhood of Agblangandan.

The initiative aims to move beyond simple sanitation by fostering public awareness regarding waste reduction at the source. Organizers emphasize that the primary goal is to encourage citizens to question consumption habits and seek sustainable alternatives to prevent waste production rather than merely cleaning it up after the fact.
