SM Prime entertainment venues exceed 1 million visitors

SM Prime Holdings, Inc. reported that its live entertainment venues welcomed over 1 million visitors from January to August 2026. This marks a 52 percent increase compared to the approximately 710,000 visitors recorded during the same period in 2025.

The growth is attributed to a steady pipeline of concerts, sporting events, and family shows, as well as the July opening of the SM Seaside Cebu Arena. The venues included in this count are the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena, the SM Seaside Cebu Arena, and the SMDC Festival Grounds.

From January to August 2026, the SM MOA Arena hosted more than 110 shows, a roughly 20 percent increase over the previous year. The SM Seaside Cebu Arena saw immediate success with sold-out debut concerts by BINI and IV of Spades. Upcoming scheduled events include performances by artists such as Maroon 5, BIGBANG, and LE SSERAFIM, alongside Disney On Ice and various sporting competitions.
