SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta graduates secure 269 state university placements

SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta (SMA Muhi) reported that 269 of its graduates for the 2025/2026 academic year have been accepted into various state universities (PTN) in Indonesia.

Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) accepted the highest number of students with 76 graduates, followed by UPN Veteran Yogyakarta with 46, Universitas Diponegoro with 31, and Universitas Brawijaya with 20. Other institutions receiving graduates include Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Airlangga, and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember.

Additionally, some graduates have pursued studies at private universities such as Universitas Ahmad Dahlan and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, while three students have secured placements at international institutions, including Monash University in Australia and the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
