Small aircraft crashes in rural Tocantins

A small twin-engine aircraft, identified as a NEIVA EMB-810D with the prefix PT-RSN, crashed in a rural area of Divinópolis do Tocantins on Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred near the Mulher Cidadã settlement.

Local residents reported seeing the aircraft flying at a low altitude before hearing a loud impact. The Fire Department was notified around 1:10 PM, and the wreckage was located at 5:36 PM. While the aircraft was found amidst vegetation, authorities have not yet confirmed the number of casualties due to the position of the wreckage. Military Police and forensic experts are investigating the site.
