Small Sellers Turn to Afrikobo in Nigeria and UPI Bio‑Link Stores in India
Afrikobo is a Nigerian online marketplace that lets vendors create their own storefronts directly on the platform or run pay‑per‑click ads to drive traffic to external sites. Sellers must provide basic business details, product information and bank details, then can list items with high‑quality images and manage orders, payments and fulfillment without needing a separate website.
In India, creators and micro‑entrepreneurs can use a link‑in‑bio store that accepts UPI payments to sell products, courses or services without a website. The UPI‑enabled checkout captures orders, generates invoices and offers automatic reconciliation. With over 22.6 billion UPI transactions in March 2026 and more than 80 % of retail digital payments using UPI, the solution removes friction for mobile‑first shoppers and can be set up with no code.
