Smallest.ai Secures $21 Million Series A to Launch Voice 4.0

San Francisco‑based AI research lab Smallest.ai announced that it has raised a total of more than $21 million, closing a $13 million Series A round led by Seligman Ventures with participation from Sierra Ventures and 3one4 Capital. The funding will support the rollout of Voice 4.0, the company’s next‑generation real‑time voice AI platform, and Hydra, an asynchronous speech‑to‑speech model that processes listening, reasoning, action and response in parallel. Smallest.ai’s technology, including Pulse STT Pro and Lightning V3.1, is positioned for enterprise use in financial services, healthcare, contact‑center and BPO environments, offering features such as speaker diarisation, emotion detection, code‑switching, noise reduction and built‑in PII/PCI redaction. The firm says its solutions can cut support costs by up to 80 % and boost agent productivity by as much as tenfold. Customers already include RingCentral, Truecaller, Readymode, Piramal, Kogta and Pocket. With roughly 60 employees, Smallest.ai plans significant expansion over the next year.
