SmallRig launches modular iPhone 18 Pro accessory ecosystem

SmallRig has unveiled a modular iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Case Ecosystem designed to transform the smartphone into a professional mobile imaging platform. The ecosystem features the FlipLoop Case, which offers multiple landscape grip modes and compatibility with MagSafe accessories.

The product lineup includes specialized kits such as the Creator Kit, which features a dual-handle design and a detachable wireless remote for controlling zoom and exposure, and the Cinema Kit, aimed at professional production. The Cinema Kit utilizes a rotating wooden handle for stable camera work and supports broader accessory integration.

A key technical advancement in the system is the SR-MicroSlide, a patented rail system that allows handles and accessories to be repositioned and locked anywhere around the cage, rather than being restricted to fixed threaded holes. Additionally, the ecosystem incorporates HawkLock NATO rails for quick attachment and detachment of accessories like microphones, lights, and telephoto lenses.
