Smart adds #5 Premium AWD and Black Collection to 2027 lineup

Smart announced a model‑year update for its #1, #3 and #5 electric cars. The update introduces a new #5 Premium AWD version, priced €2,500 higher than the rear‑wheel‑drive Premium model, and adds the Black Collection trim to all Pro+ variants across the three models for an extra €600. The Black Collection includes coordinated black exterior details such as a black grille, rear diffuser, side skirts, roof bars, model‑specific black wheels, privacy glass and other styling upgrades. The refreshed models, including the Black Collection and the #5 Premium AWD, become available from 18 August.

The changes aim to broaden the cars’ versatility and appeal in varied European climates, offering enhanced traction, safety features and a sportier visual identity while maintaining the brand’s electric‑vehicle focus.
