Smart City Brazil Congress 2026 Highlights Urban Mobility and Digital Services
The Smart City Business Brazil Congress 2026 will take place on 16‑17 June at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, drawing about 7,000 participants and more than 120 speakers. The two‑day programme focuses on smart‑city solutions for urban transport, sustainability and digital transformation, featuring a prize ceremony for municipal innovation projects and sessions on zero‑fare tariffs, autonomous vehicles and the regulatory and infrastructure challenges they pose.
At the same time, Gustavo Reis addressed the CPIIC 2026 – Congresso Paulista de Iluminação e Cidades do Futuro in Santo André, emphasizing that digital public services must serve people first. He highlighted the evolution of the Poupatempo center in Jaguariúna, which now offers dozens of digital procedures through self‑service kiosks and integrates municipal functions such as mobility and health services, illustrating how technology can streamline everyday interactions for citizens.
