Smart City Expo World Congress 2026 to be held in Barcelona

The Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2026 is scheduled to take place from November 3 to 5 at the Gran Via venue in Barcelona. Organized by Fira de Barcelona, the event will focus on the theme ‘Urban Solutions, Real Impact’ and is expected to host over 600 speakers, 1,100 exhibitors, and 27,000 attendees.

The summit will feature participation from mayors and regional leaders across four continents, including Anne Hidalgo, former Mayor of Paris, and leaders from Atlanta, Athens, Milan, Budapest, Dublin, and Freetown. A major pillar of this edition is the ‘HOWS Barcelona – Housing World Summit,’ organized by the Barcelona City Council, which will host mayoral meetings and roundtables to address housing affordability and urban cooperation.

In addition to housing, the congress will address mobility, sustainability, and digital transformation. Key industry participants include representatives from Microsoft, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Dell, ITU, and Dahua Technology, alongside major corporate exhibitors such as Google, NVIDIA, and Veolia.
