Smart Energy Week 2026 to feature decarbonization technologies

Several companies will showcase decarbonization and energy management technologies at the Smart Energy Week Autumn 2026 event, held at Makuhari Messe from September 9 to 11, 2026.

Blossom Energy will exhibit its graphite thermal energy storage boiler, the ‘Blossom Energy G-TES’. This system is designed to store surplus renewable energy as heat and supply it as hot water, hot air, or steam. The company aims to help businesses stabilize energy costs and reduce CO2 emissions by decoupling thermal energy procurement from volatile fossil fuel markets.

Higo Bank will present ‘Tansaku-kun’, a CO2 emission calculation system. The software allows users to visualize and manage greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3, supporting supply chain transparency and carbon neutrality goals.
