Smart Fit expands presence in Mexico and Chile

Fitness chain Smart Fit is expanding its footprint in Latin America, marking significant milestones in both Mexico and Chile.

In Mexico, Smart Fit is celebrating 15 years of operations. Since entering the market in 2011, the company has grown to over 500 gyms across all 32 states, making Mexico its second most important global market. The company noted a shift in consumer trends, with mental health and holistic wellness becoming top priorities for fitness enthusiasts in the country.

In Chile, Smart Fit has inaugurated its first location in the Magallanes Region, specifically in the center of Punta Arenas. The new 1,300 m² facility features modern equipment for cardio, strength, and functional training. The expansion follows the company's growth to over 125 gyms nationwide and aims to meet high local demand for physical activity in the region.
