Smart Fit partners with GymRats to integrate fitness challenges

Smart Fit, the largest gym chain in Latin America, has announced a partnership with the fitness challenge application GymRats. Starting in October, Smart Fit members will receive free access to GymRats PRO, the platform's premium version.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between physical gym attendance and digital community engagement. Through an integrated system, every time a student checks in at a Smart Fit unit, the visit will be automatically recorded as a check-in on the GymRats platform, removing the need for manual registration.

GymRats PRO features include the ability to create and participate in unlimited groups and challenges, as well as access to the ‘Rat Pack’ tool, which allows users to find public groups and compete with individuals across different regions. Alexandre Gregianin, CTO of Smart Fit Group, stated that the initiative is designed to stimulate consistency and motivation by transforming gym attendance into a community-driven experience.
