Modern robot vacuums, such as those from Dreame and Roborock, are increasingly utilizing advanced mapping technologies. These systems employ LiDAR, structured light sensors, cameras, and artificial intelligence to create detailed floor plans. This allows devices to navigate logically, avoid obstacles like cables and furniture, and manage multi-level homes more efficiently than traditional random-path models.

In the cordless appliance market, Polti is offering the Rollysteam WD50C, an all-in-one device that combines vacuuming, washing, and steam sanitization. The system uses SteamActive technology to eliminate up to 99.999% of germs and bacteria without chemical detergents. Similarly, Roborock has introduced the H60 Hub, a cordless stick vacuum featuring an auto-emptying base with a 2-liter sealed bag designed to hold debris for up to 60 days, alongside a 5-stage filtration system.
