Smart home heating solutions are seeing various consumer offerings in the German market. Bosch offers a Smart Home Starter-Paket Heizung for 349.95 Euro, which includes a Smart Home Controller II and three Heizkörper-Thermostate II +M. The controller requires a wired RJ45 connection to a router and uses ZigBee 3.0 for wireless communication with the thermostats. Bosch provides software and security updates for at least four years following the last sale in its online shop.

Meanwhile, the retailer tink is offering a discounted bundle of five tado X radiator thermostats for 265.95 Euro, a 43 percent reduction from the recommended retail price. The tado X series supports the Matter standard and communicates via Thread, though it requires a tado Bridge X or a compatible Thread Border Router for integration. These devices allow for temperature control via app or voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, and Google Home, and include features like geofencing and open-window detection.
