Smart technology adoption grows in Czechia for facility management and homes

Digitalization and automation are transforming building management and residential living in Czechia. In the industrial sector, M2C has introduced the M. a. R. V. In. solution, which utilizes IoT sensors, camera systems, and thermal imaging to enable remote monitoring and predictive maintenance. This technology can save technical staff up to 45% of their time by reducing the need for routine physical inspections and allowing for remote interventions.

In the residential sector, smart home technology is evolving from isolated gadgets into integrated systems. According to the Czech Statistical Office, 20% of Czech households had at least one smart device connected to a network in 2024. Sales data from DATART shows a year-on-year increase of approximately 20% in smart home devices, with specific growth in IP cameras (17%) and smart heating controls (15%). Consumers are increasingly prioritizing security, energy management, and convenience through these connected technologies.
