Samsung launches 2026 TV lineup with Micro RGB and Vision AI

Samsung has launched its 2026 TV lineup, featuring an expansion of AI-powered capabilities across various models, including Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, and Mini LED. A central component of this release is the Vision AI Companion (VAC), which integrates platforms like Bixby and Perplexity to provide personalized viewing, discovery, and lifestyle assistance.

The Micro RGB technology utilizes microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs controlled by a Micro RGB AI processor. This allows for precise brightness and color regulation in specific screen areas, aiming to eliminate the ‘halo’ effect seen in standard LED matrices. The Micro RGB models have received PANTONE verification for color accuracy and VDE certification for achieving 100% coverage of the UHD BT2020 color gamut.

While premium models like the R95H offer high-end features such as matte screens and glare-free technology, more affordable versions like the MRE65R85H bring Micro RGB technology to a broader consumer base, albeit with slightly lower HDR brightness compared to flagship units.
