Smart wins Ookla Best Mobile Video Experience award in Philippines

Smart has received the Best Mobile Video Experience award in the Philippines from Ookla for the second consecutive year. Based on Speedtest Intelligence data from the first half of 2026, Smart achieved a Video Score of 72.82, the highest among mobile operators in the country.

The award is determined by three equally weighted criteria: video start times of less than two seconds, uninterrupted playback without rebuffering, and a resolution of 1080p Full HD or higher. This recognition applies to both Smart and TNT subscribers.

Additionally, Smart reported a 30% increase in 5G device adoption, reaching 12.5 million connected devices as of the end of June 2026. This accounts for 21% of all individual devices on the network.
