SMARTFILMS Dominicana completes nationwide film training tour

SMARTFILMS Dominicana has concluded its 2026 Ruta Peliculera, a nationwide educational tour consisting of 36 workshops and discussions. The initiative reached approximately 2,700 people, marking a 58% increase in participation compared to 2025.

Supported by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs, the program traveled through various cities including Santo Domingo, Santiago, and Puerto Plata. The workshops aimed to provide cinematic knowledge and tools for storytelling using mobile phones, targeting educational and cultural institutions across the country.
