Smartfren hosts 5G Fun Run in Palembang with 1,000 participants

Smartfren, a brand under XLSmart, hosted the Smartfren Fun Run 5G in Palembang on September 27, 2026. The event took place at the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Office courtyard and drew over 1,000 participants.

The program combined sports and entertainment, featuring a 5K fun run, zumba sessions, live entertainment, and local MSME (UMKM) stalls. The event also included door prizes valued at tens of millions of rupiah.

Astiyanto Tri Muktiwibowo, Senior Vice President of Marketing Segment for Smartfren XLSmart, stated that the initiative aims to bring the company closer to the community while demonstrating the benefits of high-speed, stable 5G connectivity for various digital activities.
