To mitigate danger, specialists advise using only original or certified chargers, keeping devices on hard, flat surfaces, ensuring proper airflow, disabling fast‑charge modes when not needed, unplugging chargers when not in use, and replacing any charger that shows discoloration, deformation, strange noises, sparks, or persistent heat.
