Replacing a cracked iPhone 15 screen can exceed 2,000 DKK and a full repair that reaches the motherboard may require discarding the device. Standard home‑insurance policies rarely cover such damage; an “all‑risk” add‑on costing 30‑60 DKK per month and a deductible of 1,000‑2,000 DKK is often needed. AppleCare+ and Samsung Care+ provide lower out‑of‑pocket fees but have their own conditions.

Meanwhile, many apps continue to pull data in the background, draining mobile‑data quotas. Social‑media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat), streaming services (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Spotify), weather, news, and cloud‑backup apps are the biggest consumers. Both iOS (Background App Refresh) and Android (Data Saver) offer settings to restrict this behaviour, helping users avoid unexpected charges.
