SMECEL coordinates 2026 school year closure and 2027 planning

The Municipal Secretariat of Education, Culture, Sport, and Leisure (SMECEL) in Várzea Grande has begun strategic planning to conclude the 2026 school year and prepare for 2027. Secretary Maria Fernanda de Figueiredo met with superintendents and sector heads to align priorities and organize upcoming demands.

The meeting involved representatives from various departments, including pedagogical, administrative, financial, legal, human resources, public works, school transport, and school nutrition. The goal is to ensure the municipal school network is fully prepared for the next academic cycle through integrated teamwork and administrative transparency.
