Smederevo activist Una Branković targeted in repeated attacks

Una Branković, a member of the Green-Left Front (ZLF) in Smederevo, has reported a second incident of intimidation within a single week. Her vehicle was vandalized with red spray paint, occurring exactly one year after her car was previously damaged by acid.

Branković also reported that the word ‘BLOKADERKA’ (blockader) was written near the entrance to her apartment a week ago, accompanied by an arrow pointing toward her home. The ZLF has characterized these actions as political harassment and intimidation stemming from her activism, including her involvement in local protests regarding waste removal in Jelen-dol.

ZLF leadership, including co-presidents Radomir Lazović and Biljana Đorđević, have called for a thorough investigation by the police and prosecution. They expressed concern over the perceived selective application of the law and the failure of authorities to address previous threats to Branković’s physical safety.
