Trabzon infrastructure and tourism projects inspected by Adil Karaismailoğlu

Adil Karaismailoğlu, Chairman of the TBMM Public Works, Housing, Transport and Tourism Commission and AK Party Trabzon Deputy, has conducted inspections of major development projects in Trabzon.

During a visit to the construction site of the Trabzon City Hospital in Akyazı, Karaismailoğlu stated that the facility is one of the most significant steps for the city's future. He noted that the hospital is designed to feature a modern health infrastructure and is expected to employ approximately 8,000 personnel, facilitating movement for over 20,000 people daily.

In Maçka, Karaismailoğlu reported that the Sümela Monastery has reached a historic milestone, recording 520,000 visitors as of September 15, 2026. He predicted that total visits could exceed 600,000 by the end of the year. Additionally, renovation work has commenced at the Vazelon and Kuştul monasteries to further boost regional tourism. During the site visit, officials also noted discrepancies between television filming locations and current safety infrastructure, such as the presence of wooden railings at Sümela.
