Smile Hotel Hachioji Minamiguchi Ekimae to open in October 2026

Smile Hotel Hachioji Minamiguchi Ekimae is scheduled to open on October 16, 2026, in Hachioji, Tokyo. Located approximately five minutes from the south exit of JR Hachioji Station, the hotel will be built on the former site of the Roman Underground dining area.

The facility will feature 114 guest rooms, including double, twin, and universal room types. Amenities will include Wi-Fi, humidifying air purifiers, a breakfast area, and a coin laundry. The hotel aims to serve both business travelers and tourists visiting local attractions such as Mount Takao.

The project is a collaboration between Tokyo Socks Co., Ltd., which is constructing the building, and Hospitality Operations Co., Ltd., which will manage the hotel operations. This marks the 78th Smile Hotel brand location nationwide and the first in Hachioji.
