SMK Asajaya students receive incentives for entering public universities

A total of 128 students from SMK Asajaya have secured placements in public higher education institutions in Malaysia. To mark this achievement, a thanksgiving ceremony and the Skor A 2025 programme were held at the Asajaya District Office Hall.

During the event, Sarawak Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, presented incentive contributions to the students. The assemblyman pledged to continue providing these annual financial incentives to help ease the initial costs for students and their families, such as purchasing clothing and essential supplies required for university life.

SMK Asajaya has maintained a position among the 15 best rural secondary schools in Sarawak, consistently recording over 100 successful university admissions annually. The school's success was attributed to the collaborative efforts of the administration, teachers, students, and the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA).
