Smolenice and Stupava to host seasonal food and culture festivals
Various local cultural and culinary festivals are scheduled to take place in Slovakia. In Smolenice, the Nočný Medokvas event will be held at Včelovina from October 16 to 18, 2026. The three-day festival focuses on honey-based specialties, including mead, honey beer, and honey cider, alongside various food offerings such as burgers, pizza, and Mexican cuisine. Proceeds from the event are intended to support the development of the Bee Garden project.
In Stupava, the 27th annual Dni zelá (Cabbage Days) will run from Friday to Sunday. The festival features a diverse program including musical performances by artists such as Majk Spirit and Heľenine Oči, as well as culinary demonstrations and cabbage-related activities. The event includes exhibitions of harvests, craft workshops, and visits to local landmarks like the St. Stephen King Church and the local synagogue.
