Smriti Irani holds BJP organizational meetings in Haryana

Smriti Irani, the BJP in-charge for Haryana, and co-in-charge Dr. Bhola Singh arrived in Panchkula for a two-day series of state-level organizational meetings on October 22 and 23. The sessions involve the party’s core committee, state office-bearers, district presidents, district in-charges, and all MLAs, as well as chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of various boards.

During the visit, Irani criticized the Congress party for its attacks on the Election Commission of India (ECI). She defended the ECI’s voter list revision process, noting that door-to-door verification by Booth Level Officers was conducted to remove duplicate and deceased voters. Irani questioned why the Congress party appeared to oppose the removal of such entries and challenged the party's consistency regarding the ECI in states governed by non-BJP administrations.
