SMSI Aceh leadership inaugurated for 2026–2030 term

Aldin NL has been officially inaugurated as the leader of the Indonesian Cyber Media Union (SMSI) for the Aceh province for the 2026–2030 period. The inauguration ceremony was held in Banda Aceh on Saturday, September 5, 2026, led by SMSI Central Chairman Firdaus.

During the event, Firdaus emphasized that the strength of SMSI lies in its extensive network of approximately 3,500 cyber media companies across Indonesia. He urged the new Aceh leadership to use this network to monitor regional development from cities to villages while maintaining professional journalistic standards and social control without overstepping legal authorities.

Aldin NL noted that the Aceh branch currently consists of 110 media companies. He stated that the organization aims to remain critical, fair, and just while adhering to journalistic codes of ethics. The event also included the presentation of the SMSI Award 2026 to various figures and institutions for their contributions to Aceh.
